Venture Capitalist Talk Net Neutrality Pros and Cons

Venture capital investors are very interested in the outcome of the Federal Communication Commission's net neutrality vote on December 21, and they are offering differing opinions to the Washington Post on what it means for future investment in the telecommunications and tech sectors.

Brad Burnham of New York-based Union Square Ventures says that his portfolio of companies that include such tech giants as Twitter and Foursquare will not get any protection through the new proposal. He feels that the FCC has fallen short in stopping service providers from charging extra fees to tech companies for access to customers and for "faster traffic lanes." Read More
